These instruments represent the "sonic pillars" of Eufonia Project, but many others are involved in its orbit, coming from countries and musical cultures so distant geographically, but surprisingly close to the listener.

 

Even though are both modern and made in Europe (sax comes from belgium and Hang was developed in Switzerland), they surprise for their timbric characteristics, able to evoke exotic images: not accidentally their roots and some design and structural elements derive from Oriental music cultures.

Thanks to this, Eufonia Project's music can build a sound bridge between East and West, with the help of other ethnic instruments, such as santoor, sitar, xaphoon, kora, duduk, bansuri and many others.

 

As well as the choice of the Greek Language, which for centuries has joined and put into communication cultures from the different sides of the ancient World, the aim of Eufonia Project is let the Music, as one of the best universal and cross-cultural languages, gather in one harmonious and pleasant embrace the two souls who participate in their events: the voice of the instruments and their audience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Questi due strumenti rappresentano i cardini sonori dell'Eufonia Project, intorno ai quali ne ruotano numerosi altri, provenienti da luoghi e tradizioni musicali tanto lontane geograficamente quanto sorprendentemente vicine all'ascolto.

 

Benché entrambi di costruzione moderna ed europea (belga il primo e svizzero il secondo), il sax e l'hang sorprendono per la loro timbrica, capace di evocare immagini esotiche: non a caso affondano le loro radici ed alcuni elementi alla base della loro progettazione in culture musicali distanti dalla nostra; nei loro live gli Eufonia Project riescono così a costruire un ponte sonoro tra Oriente ed Occidente, affiancando a questi altri strumenti etnici, come il santoor, il sitar, lo xaphoon, la kora, il duduk, il bansuri e molti altri.

 

Cosi come la scelta del greco per il loro nome, lingua che per secoli ha unito e messo in comunicazione le culture delle due diverse sponde del mondo antico, gli Eufonia Project si ripropongono che sia la Musica, linguaggio che più di ogni altro vanta caratteristiche di comprensione universale e transculturale, a riunire in un unico e piacevole abbraccio armonico le due anime che partecipano ai loro eventi: la voce degli strumenti ed il loro pubblico.
